1971 Chevrolet Camaro - Price: 12300 in Salt Lake City, Utah

The drivetrain consists of the original born with 307 that has been rebuilt.  All of the following items are new.  A 650 Demon carb, Comp Cams hydraulic camshaft, Petronix billet distributor, Edelbrock intake, Zoom clutch, Hurst Competition Plus shifter, and full exhaust with x-pipe and transverse Flowmaster muffler.  There is also a new reproduction 71 Z/28 air cleaner.  The original automatic transmission  was replaced with a fresh Saginaw 4 speed.  The original 10 bolt rear end has a new rebuild kit and a new 3:42 ring and pinnion.
Wheels, brakes, and suspension consist of new American racing CL205 wheels measuring 18x7 front and 18x8 rear with new Nitto NT 555 tires measuring 275/40/18 on the rear and 225/45/18 on the front.  Stock disc front, drum rear brakes with a new power brake booster and master cylinder.  The camshaft robs a bit of the brakes but only at a very slow speed in parking lots.  Not an issue.  Brand new QA1 adjustable coil overs up front and multi leaf springs with 2 inch lowering blocks in the rear.  A brand new gas tank has also been installed.
The interior is factory blue standard and has several new reproduction items installed consisting of carpet, sill plates, front and rear seat covers, door panels and dash pad.  The only non working items are the original radio and the cigarette lighter.  Even the back up lights and door buzzer work.  A new 3 spoke comfort grip steering wheel has been installed.  The trunk has been resprayed with original style spatter paint and a houndstooth trunk mat and spare tire cover are installed also.
The paint and body on this Camaro is very nice!  Mulsanne Blue with white Z/28 stripes.  This was basically a rust free Camaro to begin with.  The paint has been wet sanded and buffed smooth.  The gaps are nice and so is the gloss and depth of the paint.  I believe that most all of the panels are original.  When the undercarriage was detailed it still showed lots of the original red/orange oxide primer.  I also think the trunk and floor pans are original too.   The front and rear bumpers are new and so is the windshield.  The Camaro also has the three piece spoiler and a new front spoiler.  The hood, doors, and trunk all open and shut nicely.
To sumarize this Camaro I would say it is an extremely nice car that you could drive anywhere.  It is not a high 900 point show car but it is a very, very nicely restored Camaro that can be driven and enjoyed.  In my opinion the blue on blue color combo with the gray spoke Americans is absolutely gorgeous!  The Camaro is smashed with a killer stance,  very very nice paint and a healthy sounding small block.  What more could you want out of a hot rod?
